FBM Software becomes FBmn Software

The brand new FBM Software White Balance plug-in is getting more and more success in the Sony Vegas community, much much quicker than expected! We wanted to have our own internet domain, and discovered that fbm-software.com was already existing, and belonging to another software vendor -- having absolutely no link with video editing, though. For that reason we have decided to adopt a new name: FBmn Software.

Which impact if you were already using the White Balance plug-in?

There is actually no impact. You are however encouraged to install the new version of the plug-in: there will be no changes in it except that the name will display properly in the video effects tab and in the effect property sheet.

To upgrade the plug-in:

1. Uninstall the former FBM Software plug-in, by launching the uninstall program located in the Windows Start Menu > Programs > FBM Software > White Balance OFX Plug-in > Uninstall.
2. Download the evaluation license of the new plug-in corresponding to your 32/64-bit Windows architecture from our web site http://www.FBmn-software.com.
3. Install the plug-in by running the setup file AS AN ADMINISTRATOR .
4. Re-activate your license by running the Activate tool AS AN ADMINISTRATOR (Windows Start Menu > Programs > FBmn Software > White Balance plug-in (xx-bit) > Activate. Type in your former license key and validate.
5. Re-start Sony Vegas Pro.

All the white balance settings you currently have in existing projects will be kept by the new FBmn Software White Balance plug-in.
